Enter Luoyang Museum and enjoy the broad “Heluo culture”

Luoyang Museum is one of the first batch of national first-class museums and also a local comprehensive history museum in China. After visiting Luoyang Museum, the statement that “if you ask about the history of ancient and modern times, please only look at Luoyang City” is enough to show the unique importance of Luoyang. Therefore, to appreciate the “Heluo civilization”, of course, it is only to walk into Luoyang, feel the Heluo civilization, and feel the charm of the Millennium capital.

Standing on the first floor, you can see most of the stone tools and fossils, and more precious are the ivory and ostrich fossils of the Paleolithic age, which can be called the treasures. In the Neolithic age, colored pottery, black pottery, bone needles, pottery back pots, pottery stoves, etc., it can be seen that in ancient times, there had been a “slash and burn” farming method in Luoyang’s land, and “curl smoke from cooking” had risen.

When you enter the palace cultural relics exhibition hall, you will think of the palace and architecture of the Imperial Palace in Beijing. The first thing we see is a large-scale plan and related text introduction of CI Ning palace, so that we can clearly understand the structure and layout of CI Ning palace, which is convenient for us to visit. Next, we can see the Buddha Hall and a number of statues and pagodas of Tibetan Buddhism. Let’s all seem to appreciate the scene of the Empress Dowager and the Empress Dowager’s Buddha worship and the vivid Buddha image. After that, I watched the palace furniture and home decoration. The woodworking technology of the palace furniture was combined with carving, inlaying and other technologies to form the innovative style of the palace furniture.

At the gate of the stone carving Museum, you can see the “great thing” which is similar to the old museum in Luoyang. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, stone exorcism was known as the “treasure of the town hall” of the museum. The exhibition hall is divided into two parts: “religious stone inscription” and “stele epitaph”. “Religious stone carvings” are mostly Buddha statues. When we watch the stone carvings and being cut off, we also feel the magic charm of stone carvings.

On the second floor of Luoyang treasure house, I am more looking forward to seeing more and more exquisite treasures. In the ancient mural Museum, we can see many precious tomb murals. The high value of mural painting technology and art, and the large size of the painting, everyone is amazed. Like some parts of the heaven map, the Northern Wei Samurai map, the hostess banquet map can also be described as treasures.

In the Museum of calligraphy and painting treasures, more works of famous calligraphers and painters such as Wang Duo, Wu Changshuo, Ren Bonian and Kang Youwei are also on display, so that we can enjoy their works at close range. Wang Duo’s “poetry manuscript album”, “running script axis”, Wu Changshuo’s “loquat map”, “gourd map”, “autumn chrysanthemum map” and other calligraphy and painting works, all of which are excellent and admirable.

My favorite exhibition hall here is the special exhibition hall of Tangsancai. The unique shape and gorgeous color of Tangsancai remind people of the imperial palace. It’s said that the production process of the three colors of the Tang Dynasty is very complicated. The exhibits in the three colors museum are mainly figurines and living utensils. There are figurines of figures and animals in the figurines. No matter they are women, officials, military officials, horses and camels, they all have vivid images and different styles.

The new museum of Luoyang Museum really gives us a taste of the “Heluo civilization” and the cultural charm of Luoyang’s Millennium capital.
