Fossil of ancient rhombus elephant
“Look, an elephant…” I rushed up to her and ran to where she was looking. Yes, there was an elephant, but, to be exact, it was a complete skeleton. If you compare that skeleton with the present elephant, I think the lower palate of the elephant ten thousand years ago is bigger than that of the present elephant. The whole skeleton shows the physical features of the ancient elephant completely: there are long and sharp ivory, such as a pair of curved sickles; there are strong lower palate and hard head; dozens of ribs and thick limbs, so we can feel the strength and ferocity of the ancient rhombus.

Tao Li
Go ahead and you will find the place where the cultural relics are displayed. There is a kind of exhibit that makes you feel very interesting: a container with three “feet” but a big bowl mouth. I think it should be a tool for riding things! Look carefully, there is another one on the surface of the cultural relic, which has four sharp points below, but it is flat on the top. A white thing that I can’t say, just like a flash of lightning cuts the sky. I saw this cultural relic Introduction, originally, this thing is called tao yao.
Turquoise
Looking down, I noticed a piece of “glass”. Well, how could there be a piece of “glass” in the exhibition cabinet? I leaned forward and found that this is a magnifying glass. In the middle of the back of the magnifying glass, there is a small sculpture, which has not been covered with my index finger nail. This sculpture is called lvsong beast, a cultural relic of the Xia Dynasty. I think it’s the place It’s called Turquoise because it has a turquoise body!
Copper
There is another cultural relic worth mentioning. It’s called Jia, which is a cultural relic of the Shang Dynasty. Its surface is divided into three layers. Each layer has different patterns. It looks very complicated. The most special thing is that it has two mushroom like handles, which makes the whole cultural relics lovely.

JUE
Let’s talk about the four treasures of Luoyang Museum, which are all in the treasure hall on the second floor. The floor of the treasure house is covered with thick carpet, which is soft like stepping on cotton.
The first treasure of the town hall is a marquis, which has the reputation of “the first Marquis of China”. Because it is not only one of the earliest bronzes discovered in China, but also has beautiful appearance, it is regarded as a rare treasure.
bronze square tripod with animal face pattern
What about the second one? It’s a tripod, which is called copper square tripod with animal face pattern. This tripod has a human face. Listen to the commentator. This tripod was originally a monster. It likes eating people very much. No matter what it bites, it won’t let go until it swallows things into its stomach. But once, it choked when eating people, so it only left people’s appearance, but There is no body left.

Black horse
The third is a black horse of the Tang Dynasty. The horse is fat and strong. Its tail is short and trimmed. It’s a military horse. The biggest feature of the horse is that the lower part of its body and the lower part of its neck are made of black glaze. There are only two black glazed horses in the whole country. One is the current one, and the other is also unearthed in Luoyang. The whole body is black, but it has been transferred to the National Museum. Because the black glaze is very precious, there are only three kinds of colors: red, blue and green. However, the firing of the black glaze is almost accidental, and it can only be fired successfully after repeated firing.

Jinsinanmu tower
The last one is a three story golden nanmu tower. This wooden tower is divided into three layers. It is about 6 meters high and weighs about 4 tons. A total of 334 Buddha statues have been carved, each of which has its own unique posture and is a very precious cultural relic. Because the golden silk nanmu is a very precious wood, there is gold in the wood grain, which is the best one of Nanmu. The throne of the ancient feudal emperors was made of good nanmu, and they could also build palaces and mausoleums. But its growth cycle is very slow for hundreds of years, so the tree species has been very rare since the Qing Dynasty.
This visit to the museum has witnessed the splendid history of Xia, Shang, Western Zhou, Eastern Zhou and other dynasties.
Although these cultural relics can’t speak, according to their dynasties, the characteristics can make those distant histories speak and let us feel the great wisdom of the ancients.
