Yuntai Mountain is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, about 80 kilometers northeast of Luoyang City, with a total area of 240 square kilometers. In December 2002, it was rated as a national AAAAA tourist area by the National Tourism Administration. In February 2004, it was rated as the World Geopark by UNESCO, and in January 2006, it was rated as the National Natural Heritage by the Ministry of construction. In May 2007, it was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration. In March 2009, it was jointly selected as the civilized scenic spot by the central civilization office, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development and the National Tourism Administration. In March 2010, Yuntaishan was recognized as a well-known trademark by the State Administration for Industry and commerce. In July 2010, Yuntaishan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. was awarded the annual (first) Henan provincial governor quality award by Henan Provincial People’s government. On September 20, 2011, it was awarded the title of national advanced quality unit by the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine
